After years of photographing my own family, I am embarking on a crazy, fun adventure of a lifetime and taking the plunge into photographing other families! As the mom of two boys who rarely want to “sit and say cheese”, and a baby girl who is always on the move, my style has become a blend of lifestyle and portrait photographer. While I do love the traditional smiling portraits (and will try my best to get several of these in each session), I also love the lifestyle images that tell the story of a family. Some of my most cherished images of my kiddos are the ones that remind me of exactly who they are or of a particular “story”. It’s my hope that I will develop a personal relationship with all of my clients, so that I can use photography to tell all the stories of your family’s life. Moments are often too quickly forgotten – from a momma’s growing belly to the swirl of a newborn’s hair and later their first birthday; from the innocence of a toddler and the curiosity of a child to the celebration of your child’s life in their senior portraits. The LOVE of a family is the most important moment that can be captured in a portrait. I can help you remember these moments forever! I would be SO honored to spend some time with your family, capturing the fleeting moments that are often all too quickly forgotten. A family portrait is an investment that your entire family can cherish for years. Not only will it become a beautiful piece of art to grace your home, but it will also serve as a reminder of those moments we wish to never forget.
Day-to-day you will find me out and about with my little brood. My two adventurous little boys and sweet, smiling baby girl keep me busy, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Photography has provided me with an outlet for my creativity and passion for design, while also allowing me to be with (and also, to capture) all the wonderfully special moments of their childhood. I can’t imagine anything I’d rather be doing.
